Anaarkali (Swara Bhaskar) is an orchestra singer in South Bihar's Arrah. She is poor, sings double meaning lyrics and is treated as a sex worker. Dharmendra Chauhan (Sanjay Mishra), the Vice Chancellor of a prestigious university, is one of her many admirers. He molests Anaarkali in an inebriated state during a show and a war breaks out between the two. While Anaarkali wants justice for her ordeal, the system thinks it's the most natural accident that somebody like Anaarkali could meet. Written by subratjain1
